Item RSLW - LOVE WAITS Ring is a hypo allergenic stainless steel ring. This ring has a soft brushed metal finish with fine laser etched artwork. This ring is special because it is commonly used as a "purity ring". The main features of this ring include the etched phrase "Love Waits" that is written in beautiful cursive text. To compliment this common slogan we added a Heart / Cross art motif in and around the ring. This is a true American design that is not found floating around the internet somewhere.

The Love Waits text is laser etched 3 times and in between each set of text the Heart and Cross symbols. The ring appears to have a matte finish but it is the soft brushed metal finish made from stainless steel.
What Makes A Heart Symbol So Special
Heart symbol is very traditional which represents love, loyalty, and friendship. The heart symbol or "heart shape" (?) is an ideograph used to express the idea of the "heart" in its metaphorical or symbolic sense as the center of emotion. The combination of the "heart shape" and its use within the "heart" metaphor developed at the end of the Middle Ages. It became widely popular in the 16th century. In the Renaissance and Early Modern Times the Heart symbol can be seen on the bible Jesus holds in the Empress Zoe mosaic in the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. It probably dates from 1239.
