Cross Guitar Pick
Cross Guitar Pick
Item STG2 - Cross Guitar Pick is made from hypo allergenic stainless steel. We made our steel pick to replicate the shape of a real guitar pick. The main feature other than its prolific shape is the cool Tribal Cross that is laser etched with a brushed metal finish. This guitar pick is allot thicker and does not bend like a traditional plastic guitar pick. We love guitar picks and though it would be cool to make a replica pick out of our fine quality stainless steel.
The Cross image is etched not engraved. (etching and engraving are two different processes - etching is like an image scratched into the surface of the pendant and engraving is like metal being removed from the pendant)

Back Story on All Cross Pendants
The Cross Necklace would be meaningless without the reboot... Jesus, Gods only son, was basically murdered for no reason in Jerusalem. Calvary is the Latin form of the word. The Holy Bible does not reveal the precise location of Golgotha. It simply states that Jesus' crucifixion took place outside the city of Jerusalem, though near it (John 19:20; Hebrews 13:12). Why was Jesus Murdered if he is blameless and not guilty? Because he claimed he was God's only son... He took our place on the Cross because none of us are guiltless or blameless or perfect in any way. That is what is so cool about our Cross Necklace because it has the black color that represents the suffering and sin Jesus willing bore for us. It is a unique look to cherish and to adore. This cross pick suspends freely along an 18" black leather cord choker.

History of Guitar Picks
As with other great inventions, the origin of the pick has been a mystery for the ages. They were not called guitar picks in ancient times they were called a "plectrum". They have been used for thousands of years but they did not resemble the modern day guitar picks. A plectrum is a small flat tool used to pluck or strum a stringed instrument. They were by default designed for hand-held instruments such as guitars and mandolins. The plectrum over time is replaced with modern term "pick". It is regarded as "tool" being held in the player's hand. A man named Tony D'Andrea was one of the first people to use celluloid to produce and sell guitar picks. In 1902 he started to punch out guitar picks from small pieces of celluloid. This became very popular because of its natural flexibility From the 1920s through the 1950s, D'Andrea Manufacturing would dominate the world's international pick market.
