MARCH – THE MONTH OF SPRING
Song of Solomon 2:11-12 For behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”
This sounds like an alternative translation for Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
Yes, in other words – it’s time to make a change and God has equipped you with everything you need!

MARCH 13TH GOOD SAMARITAN DAY
Today is a day to celebrate kindness, generosity, and helping those in need. Even if you don’t see someone on the side of the road who needs help with a flat tire, you can still share some of the Oreo Cookies that you just bought to celebrate Oreo Cookie day tomorrow
Here are a couple organizations that base their ministry on Good Samaritan principles: https://www.samaritanspurse.orgForgiven Apparel Celebrates Cookie Day
March 14 is Oreo Cookie Day. Why not use today to celebrate that special day from 1912 when Oreo’s became a cookie (…like you really need an excuse to eat Oreo’s, right?) Twist them, dunk them, pound them or share if you must…it’s all up to you. Enjoy!
MARCH 14TH IS NATIONAL POTATO CHIP DAY
Created by accident by George Crum to try and satisfy a customer complaining about the thick soggy fried potatoes that were served. George sliced the potatoes as thin as he could, fried them crisp and covered them in salt. They were a hit! They are still a hit, so go get some to celebrate this momentous day.
MARCH 17TH IS ST PATRICKS DAY
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated by millions of people across the globe. People wear the color green, drink green beverages and decorate houses and businesses in shamrocks. In fact, the wearing of the green is a tradition that dates back to a story written about St. Patrick in 1726. St. Patrick (c. AD 385–461) was known to use the shamrock to illustrate the Holy Trinity and to have worn green clothing.

MARCH 25TH OF TOLKIEN READING DAY
WE LOVE TOLKIEN! How many times have you read The Hobbit?
HOW TO OBSERVE
Read some of Tolkien’s works and use #TolkienReadingDay to post on social media.
This day was started in 2003 by the Tolkien Society to encourage the readings of J.R.R. Tolkien. March 25th was chosen as the date to honor the fall of Sauron in Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.
Our prayer for you and for the month of March from 3 John 2... Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
