What is a Copper Metal Finish?
It is a special finish that is rich copper color that is antiqued. The antiquing creates dark recessed areas but enhances the bright orange like highlighted areas. This finish that is very close to new copper colors yet has the rugged darkness that is unique unto itself.

I CAN DO is our motto. It is inspired from Philippians 4:13. On the backside of this round baseball necklace we engraved Philippians 4:13 with the scripture reference. The entire pendant is made from lead free pewter metal alloy. We used an antique Copper finish that really highlights the embossed text. We used a white epoxy color fill for the baseball with copper stitching to give the baseball a realistic look. We designed this Baseball pendant, for the player that loves and breathes extra innings. The Baseball choker was made to fit and feel comfortable. To have all the power of scripture that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them. All the I Can Do elements strike out the competition as reminders that we can play with in the game to the best of our God given ability and to play with honor and respect. *do not wear this jewelry in the pool, shower or bath

Baseball History in America

Back in September 1845, a small group of men in New York City created the N.Y.K.B.C. (New York Knickerbocker Baseball Club). One of them, Alexander Joy Cartwright would codify a new set of rules that would form the basis for modern baseball, calling for a diamond-shaped infield, foul lines and the three-strike rule. He also stopped the dangerous practice of tagging runners by throwing balls at them. Mr. Cartwright's changes made the burgeoning pastime faster-paced and more challenging while clearly differentiating it from older games like cricket. In 1846, the Knickerbockers played the first official game of baseball against a team of cricket players, beginning a new, uniquely American tradition.
