Thought for the day… “May you share freely, never taking more than you give.”  Wow, what a concept. The Bible says in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” God desires that we share what we have, and He blesses our giving accordingly.  If our measure of giving is stingy, we have no business taking!  Who have you blessed today?

We are called to give thanks in all circumstances because God, in his sovereignty, is working to accomplish His purpose in everything.  “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thes 5:18)  First of all, being thankful is a spiritual battle.
