Graduation is here which means your future and your hope are right in front of you. Abraham Lincoln said “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
How exciting! The future can be a big scary place but there is no reason to fret or worry about it, especially if Christ is first and foremost in your life. You can step out in confidence and hope.
“There is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off” Proverbs 23:18
As we were reading “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young today, we thought it was perfectly what we wanted to say regarding your future and your hope. “You can make some plans as you gaze into the day that stretches out before you. But you need to hold those plans tentatively, anticipating that I may have other ideas. The most important thing to determine is what to do right now. Instead of scanning the horizon of your life, looking for things that need to be done, concentrate on the task before you and the One who never leaves your side. Let everything else fade into the background. This will unclutter your mind, allowing Me to occupy more and more of your consciousness.
Trust Me to show you what to do when you have finished what you are doing now. I will guide you step by step, as you bend your will to Mine. Thus you stay close to Me on the path of Peace.”
Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
“The purpose of life is to live with purpose“. Your future and your hope are found in Christ and allowing him to guide you, so trust Him in all things.
Congratulations on this milestone of your life! Now get out there and create your future and your hope!
